Bas-Uele : Un atelier pour céder les acquis d’un projet de l’USAID dans le domaine de chasse de Bili-Uele

Agissant au nom du gouverneur de la province du Bas-uele en mission, le ministre provincial en charge de l’intérieur Jean-Pierre MAZIAMBOLA a présidé ce jeudi 8 juin 2023 en la salle des conférences de Plankumu dans la ville de Buta les travaux de l’Atelier de présentation et de cession des acquis du projet USAID CBCWT aux parties prenantes de l’administration publique et autres de la société civile du Bas-Uélé.
Presenter et ceder les principaux acquis du projet USAID CBCMT mis en œuvre dans le domaine de chasse de Bili-Uele aux parties prenantes clés de l’administration publique ( ministères sectoriels) et autres de la société civile du Bas-uele, c’est l’objectif de ces assises d’un jour.

Il a été question de présenter les principaux objectifs du projet, les résultats attendus ainsi que les résultats obtenus. Sur base des recommandations de différentes études menées dans divers domaines notamment l’agriculture ( unité de production de farine de manioc) , pêche, exploitation minière artisanale, genre et gestion durable des ressources naturelles ( foyers améliorés, planification familiale), planification de l’utilisation des terres , l’enquête sur la commercialisation de viande et enfin procéder à la cession aux ministères sectoriels les résultats finaux pour une prise en charge, explique Antoine TABU de l’institut congolais pour la conservation de la nature.

Il convient de préciser que le projet Community- Based Counter Wildlife Trafficking ( CBCWT) lancé depuis juin 2018 pour 5 ans au Domaine de Chasse de Bili-Uele ( DCBU) en République Démocratique du Congo était mis en œuvre par African Wildlife Foundation ( AWF). Ce projet financé par l’USAID vise à intervenir auprès des communautés résidant dans et à la périphérie de cette aire protégée, pour promouvoir des moyens de subsistance et des activités génératrices de revenus conciliables avec la conservation des ressources naturelles.
Arrivé à la fin du projet USAID CBCWT, il est tout à fait normal de présenter et céder les principaux acquis du projet aux parties prenantes clés de l’administration publique.
