La sélection de la commune Kisangani soulève le trophée du tournoi intercommunal de football organisé à Kisangani par la fondation Doudou FWAMBA. En effet, elle a battu en finale la sélection de la commune Lubunga à la séance des tirs aux buts.
Au temps réglementaire, les deux sélections se sont séparé sur un score nul de 1 but partout, Lubunga ayant égalisé aux ultimes secondes de la rencontre.
A la tribune, la maire adjointe de la ville de Kisangani Eugènie WANDANDI Biekusa qui avait à ses côtés le coordonnateur de la fondation Doudou FWAMBA Trésor BOTAMBA Ahuka remet le trophée à la sélection gagnante Kisangani qui a bénéficié aussi d’une cagnotte de 2.400.000 francs congolais .
Il en est de même pour la sélection arrivée en deuxième position 1.800.000 francs congolais, la troisième 600.000 francs congolais et les autres .
Dans les gradins, c’est l’ambiance de fête. Le public venu nombreux au terrain provincial ne cache pas sa joie par des chants et autres cris d’allégresse.
Ainsi, la fondation Doudou FWAMBA a réussi à faire revivre la belle ambiance du sport roi dans la ville de Kisangani. Car, Il y a plusieurs années depuis qu’un tournoi intercommunal soit organisé, explique un spectateur présent au terrain provincial.

une compétition qui s’est déroulée sans perte en vies humaines, pas de casses non plus, la fête ayant pris place à la tension.

Il faut dire que Doudou FWAMBA Likunde Li-Botay, autorité morale de la fondation qui porte son nom, directeur général adjoint de la DGRAD, est un haut cadre de l’Union pour la Démocratie et le Progrès Social, parti politique cher au président de la République Démocratique du Congo Félix Antoine TSHISEKEDI Tshilombo.
