Les concessionnaires de cacao opérant sur l’axe Alibuku sur la route Banalia en majorité de la communauté Nande suspendent à partir de ce dimanche 20 août 2023 toutes les activités commerciales et champêtres jusqu’à la levée du deuil qui frappe leur association. C’est ce qu’on peut retenir de la réunion extraordinaire des membres de l’association des concessionnaires de cacao de la Tshopo tenue ce dimanche 20 août 2023 au gest house du Canon dans la commune de la Makiso ici à Kisangani.
Magasins, boutiques, pharmacies seront fermés jusqu’à la levée du deuil de l’agent de leur membre tué par les jeunes du point kilométrique 13 sur la route Buta.
Selon Richard Katembo, porte parole de cette association, les travailleurs de la maison Palos qui revenaient du champ le vendredi 18 août 2023, ont été attaqués par les jeunes du PK 13 vers 16 heures. L’un d’eux est décédé sur le champs et trois autres sont grièvement blessés et internés pour le moment à l’hôpital du cinquantenaire de Kisangani. Et la jeep qui les transportait saccagée.
Tout est parti de la colère d’un jeune dont le véhicule lui a éclaboussé l’ eaux, pourtant le chauffeur était descendu pour lui présenter des excuses.
Occasion pour cette association de dénoncer l’insécurité dont sont victimes ses membres sur cet axe suite au mauvais état de la route.
Profitant du mauvais état de la route, ces jeunes barricadent la route tout le long de cet axe au motif de l’arranger et exigent de l’argent aux passants. Chaque passant est obligé de payer 500 ou 1000 FC ou soit ils créént des situations qui obligent les passants à traverser dans leurs parcelles moyennant ce montant. La situation créé, c’est notamment, ces jeunes creusent eux mêmes de trous sur la chaussée.
Ces cas de tracasserie et d’insécurité sont connus des autorités précise Richard Katembo.
Les membres de cette association à travers leur porte parole demandent aux autorités de se saisir de ce dossier pour leur sécurité.
