Il est question ici de quantifier le stock de carbone contenu dans les forêts de la RDC qui représente à elles seules 52% des forêts de forêts du bassin du Congo. La forêt du bassin du Congo comprend le Cameroun, le Gabon, le cap vert, la RCA et les deux Congo.
